Canada’s largest tree and the world’s largest western redcedar, the Cheewhat Giant. This enormous and ancient tree thankfully grows protected in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in Ditidaht territory on southwestern Vancouver Island, BC. Measuring nearly 20 ft (6 m) wide at its base and 182 ft (55 m) tall, it’s an absolute wonder to behold.
